Game Format: | $1500 FEE INCLUDES GATE FEE $500 - 4 Games Guaranteed in Pool Play depending on total teams in tournament and weather permitting. Top teams advance to a Double Elimination Bracket. We will need team photos and rosters by the Entry Deadline for the program. The Opening Ceremony will provide a free dinner for players and coaches and will include a Home Run Derby, Coaches Dizzy Bat Contest and a Great Fireworks Show. All teams as well as team parents staying at host hotels will receive a week pass to the Jimmy Floyd Family Center (swimming pool, work out area and gym). All teams participating in CABA World Series events are required to book hotels through ASA - All Sport Accommodations. Teams not booking their hotels or travel arrangements through ASA, may be subject to an additional $200 fee. | |

ON-SITE CHECK IN:
TBA. All teams must officially check in at Harold Dean Greer Recreation Center, located at 416 Baird Park Circle Lebanon, Tennessee 37087. Players should not attend registration with the coach.
All coaches must be present at registration with all required materials.

COACHES’ MEETING: MANDATORY MEETINGS
The pre-tournament coaches meeting TBA at Harold Dean Greer Recreation Center, beginning at 4:00p.m. The head coach from each team is required to attend.
Other Mandatory Meetings will be announced during the tournament and will be held between the different rounds of play to determine seeding and schedules.
All brackets and field assignments will be available at this point.
OPENING CEREMONIES & BANQUET: This is a MANDATORY event for all teams. A dinner will be provided for all players and coaches at no charge. Parents and friends are encouraged to attend also and may purchase the dinner for a reasonable price. We will recognize all the teams, have a home run derby and fireworks show.
Tournament passes and souvenirs will be on sale during this time.
ADMISSION FEE: Admission for coaches, players and bat persons is included in the team entry fee. Day Passes will be $8. There will also be a Tournament Pass for $30. Children 10 and under will be admitted free.

When you stay at a Host Hotel you will receive a free pass to the Jimmy Floyd Family Center.
AWARDS: Trophies will be awarded to the top two teams and their players in the Championship bracket. There will also be individual awards such as MVP, Most Valuable Pitcher, Batting Champion, Golden Glove as well as an All Tournament Team.
COMPETITION FORMAT: In general, the seven (7) days of competition will consist of:
- Pool Play, the pools will be geographically oriented. Teams will be guaranteed 5 or 6 games in pool play depending on the number of teams in the tournament. Following the completion of pool play, the top teams will advance to the Championship bracket.
- The top teams (8, 16 – number depends on the # of teams in the tournament) from pool play will go into a double elimination championship bracket.
Pool Play Games will have a 2-hour time limit or follow mercy rule guidelines based on number of innings played. Game times start on first pitch.
Championship Bracket Games will be 7 inning games or follow mercy rule guidelines based on number of innings played. There is no time limit.
If any portion of the tournament is delayed or modified due to inclement weather or any other cause, all participating teams are expected to play at any time. No exceptions will be made to accommodate travel plans made for the rain delay.
In the event of inclement weather, the Tournament Director reserves the right to change the tournament format to ensure completion of the tournament.
RULES:
The CABA 14U World Series will be conducted in accordance with the rules outlined in the CABA 2020 rule book. The rule book is available on line at the CABA web site. If you need a hard copy please print it from the web site.
CONDUCT:
Player’s and coach’s conduct should be above reproach, both on and off the field. Coaches listed on the official team roster will be responsible for the conduct of the players and for any damages incurred to the hotel(s) or facilities used by their roster players. Any coach ejected from a game must sit out the remainder of the game and be removed from the dugout. Any player ejected from a game will also be disqualified from that team’s following game. The second occurrence during the tournament results in suspension for the remainder of the tournament as well as possible imposition of further sanctions.
PROTEST:
Protests must be made verbally with the umpire by the offended team at the time of the play and before the next pitch. All decisions of the protest committee shall be final. Only decisions involving the misinterpretation or misapplication of a rule may be protested. No protest shall be allowed in matters involving solely the official’s judgment.
